On
Saturday January 30, 2010
ARMA Texas met in Magnolia, Texas for a MTP 1.0 seminar taught
by ARMA Director John Clements. Study group members from Dallas-Fort
Worth, Denton, Austin, College Station and Houston were present.
Our fellow Texans braved the unusually cold and windy weather
(for the Gulf Coast) to train with John and get the latest update
on the ARMA curriculum with some new exercises, training concepts,
and insights, all backed up by copious quotes and references from
the historical source manuals. We also got a sneak peek at the
new interpretation of the volta,
key and scale concepts prior to publication. During lunch
the group huddled under shelter for discussion and to record a
group podcast for the greater membership before venturing back
out for more. As always, we enjoyed the chance to train with old
friends and welcome new members, and the day ended with a group
dinner.
